Explorer Unit Volunteer Team

The Unit Volunteers are there to lead, support and develop Scouting within the Unit. They review the progress towards top awards, standards and effectiveness of the Explorer programme.

Ian

Team Lead

Ian provides overall leadership and management to the unit and team members. He ensures the unit runs efficiently, effectively and safely, and operates as an integral part of our District, and that Scouting develops in accordance to the rules and policies of the Scout Association.

Sam

Team Member

Sam works in partnership with Ian to plan and deliver the Explorer programme in accordance with the rules as laid down in Policy, Organisation and Rules of The Scout Association. She also takes the lead for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

Wes

Team Member

Wes works in partnership with Ian to plan and deliver the Explorer programme in accordance with the rules as laid down in Policy, Organisation and Rules of The Scout Association.

Phil

Team Member

Phil works in partnership with Ian to plan and deliver the Explorer programme in accordance with the rules as laid down in Policy, Organisation and Rules of The Scout Association. He is also a Group Lead Volunteer at 2nd Burnopfield Scout Group.

Katie

Team Member

Katie works in partnership with Ian to deliver the Explorer programme in accordance with the rules as laid down in Policy, Organisation and Rules of The Scout Association.
